madVR is a DirectShow-based video renderer that can be used to improve video playback quality for various media players.

You can set madVR as the video rendered for various media players such as Media Player Classic – Home Cinema, Zoom Player, KMPlayer, PotPlayer and J.River Media Center among others. You just need to set the app as the main renderer in the preferred media player’s settings menu.

madVR can be configured to detect other PCs connected to your network that run it and synchronize actions. However, you will need to configure your Windows firewall to allow the app access to the local area network for this purpose.

The application provides options for removing banding artifacts and advanced deinterlacing and image optimization functionality.
