James: A robust web debugging platform with straightforward tools

James is a modern web debugging platform that provides a clean and polished layout and intuitive tools that enable you to record and view incoming and outgoing data traffic.

The tool works as a HTTP proxy and HTTP monitor packing only essential options. As soon as you run James, it will automatically start a local proxy which can be used once you setup your web browser accordingly.

However, the application can perform all these configurations for you, assuming your preferred browser is Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. With your browser all set up, you can start browsing and James shows relevant information as a list, which includes target URL and ping time.

A detailed view containing request and response headers can be displayed for any entry with a simple mouse click. On top of that, the app provides a search function so you can easily find specific content.
