FortKnox Personal Firewall is a security application that monitors data exchange for your computer in order to detect and block infiltration attempts as soon as they occur. While many antivirus applications come with a built-in firewall, using a dedicated tool is often a superior solution as stand-alone firewalls usually contain more capabilities and options.

After you install the program, a system restart will be required to apply all the changes correctly. FortKnox Personal Firewall has a modern graphical layout designed for intuitive usage, even for those with little or no technical experience.

You can find the application’s features sorted in several tabs, as well as a live graph that shows all incoming/outgoing traffic and a history of the attacks (if any). Furthermore, it displays comprehensive data regarding each active connection, such as the IP, MAC address and trigger process.

The tool bundles a number of advanced settings, such as performing whois lookup and traceroute, terminate suspicious processes and even an ‘Advanced’ menu where you can manually set firewall rules.
