GridinSoft Anti-Malware: An effective and user friendly malware removal application

GridinSoft Anti-Malware (formerly known as Trojan Killer) is a modern application that can search for malware, suspicious files, adware and other threats that might be hiding in your computer, and effectively remove them. It bundles a large collection of functions that can detect and remove spyware, adware, Trojans and other online threats from your machine.

When you launch the tool it will automatically check for definition updates and perform a computer scan. The results display the total number of scanned files, registry items and detected Trojan infections (if any). You can also access the application’s log in a text files, where you can view more information on infected items, specifically their name, type of virus and file path.

The scan may detect infections that need to be further analyzed so they can be submitted for this task. The rest of detected items can be marked as false positives (if that is the case) or removed from the computer.

GridinSoft Anti-Malware offers various customization in its settings menu, such as enabling deep scan mode, turn heuristic rules on/off, ignore incomplete files and other items. The application can be configured to run automatically at startup and you can also select the startup scan mode which can be full, quick, standard or removable.

Furthermore, the tool allows you to turn off the logging function, as well as turn off notification sounds and edit proxy settings. It also comes with a built-in scanners that performs real-time verifications to ensure no threats infect your computer.
