Freeplane is a powerful mind map creator that lets you make your ideas visual by creating simple to comprehensive mind maps.

You can insert various elements in your mind map, such as light bulbs, question or exclamation marks, smiley faces, numbers, information signs and flags.

The application allows you to work on multiple projects simultaneously, thaks to the tabbed interface, and it is possible to create a mind map using one of the built-in templates or from scratch.

What’s more, Freeplane enables you to change the map background color, add images and hyperlinks, apply a style, enable password protection and export the projects to XML, TXT, JPEG, HTML, XLS and other popular formats.
