Weasis: Powerful DICOM viewing tool for medical professionals.

Weasis is a software solution that was designed for medical professionals, but can also be used by any day-to-day user that has an inclination for studying medical and image files, and comes with tools for viewing DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) files or radiological images.

The application comes with support for a wide array of DICOM files, which includes multi-frame, enhanced, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MIMI Encapsulation, SR, PR, KOS, and AU, that come from all storage mediums, and also includes CDs and DVDs or other portable media, while also supporting TIFF, BMP, FlashPix, GIF, JPEG, PNG, and PNM.

The multi-viewer features make it possible for the user to view multiple images in various customizable layouts, which is very handy for situations that need to compare images on one screen.

The application will also allow the user to save the measurements and annotations in DICOM PR or XML format, and also export DICOM to ZIP, ISO, TIFF, JPEG, and PNG formats.
